Today was Valentine's Day. Except for these past few years, we've never paid any attention to this day and truthfully, I wanted to continue that trend, at least this year. But somehow conversations came about and I was expecting a surprise at work, so every time that door opened, I was expecting it to be something fun for me. Low and behold, the surprise never came and I was way more disappointed than I should have been, since had the seed not been planted, I wouldn't have cared if I got nothing at all.

I did get some beautiful roses and dinner, so that was nice. Best part? The fact that I took this awesome photo!
